What you'll do

We're looking for someone who wants to own the animation direction of the project rather than simply produce animation assets.

Your work will directly shape how players perceive our characters, creatures, and the world itself.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Creating gameplay and cinematic animations for characters, creatures, robots, props, and environmental objects.
  • Bringing our main character to life through expressive locomotion, interactions, combat, and facial animation.
  • Developing memorable movement styles for enemies that reinforce gameplay and horror.
  • Creating animations that improve game feel and support gameplay.
  • Integrating animations into Unity and working with IK, Cinemachine, and other gameplay systems.
  • Working closely with the Game Director to prototype ideas, gather references, discuss solutions, and refine animations throughout development.

While you'll own the animation pipeline, you won't be working alone. We believe the best ideas come from collaboration, iteration, and constructive discussion.

We're looking for someone who

  • Has professional experience as a 3D Animator in game development.
  • Is comfortable creating gameplay animations from concept to final implementation.
  • Has experience working with Unity.
  • Understands rigging and can modify rigs when needed.
  • Can work independently and take ownership of their discipline.
  • Enjoys analyzing animation in games and explaining creative decisions through references and examples.
  • Communicates clearly and enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Has English skills sufficient for day-to-day communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience working on third-person action or survival horror games.
  • Experience with combat, weapon, and creature animation.
  • Experience creating facial animation and cinematics.
  • Understanding of acting principles and character performance.
  • Motion capture experience.

What matters to us

We're looking for someone who watches animation with a designer's eye.

Someone who understands why a character's walk cycle can tell you more about their personality than a page of dialogue. Why one creature immediately feels unsettling while another is simply another enemy.

We love people who analyze great games, break down why they work, and use those insights to create something even better.

What we offer

  • Fully remote position.
  • Full-time employment.
  • Work with a distributed international team aligned around the Dubai time zone (GMT+4).
  • A high level of creative ownership and the opportunity to influence the project.
  • Support for participating in game development conferences, festivals, and community events.
  • Compensation based on your experience and skills.

If you're excited about creating animation that players won't just see—but genuinely feel—we'd love to hear from you.
